Dr. Kartik Panikkar is an ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist. He completed his Diplomate of the National Board postgraduate training and long term fellowship training in the subspeciality of glaucoma from the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore.
He has a special interest in glaucoma diagnostics even having experience with the latest diagnostic modalities such as the HRT and HEP. He has ample experience in glaucoma laser procedures such as iridotomy, iridoplasty, selective laser trabeculoplasty, and diode cyclophotocoagulation. Surgically he is well versed with topical cataract phacoemulsification, trabeculectomy glaucoma surgeries, congenital glaucoma surgeries as well as glaucoma valve surgeries.

He has been certified by a number of national and international certifying boards attesting to his advanced knowledge in ophthalmology including:
